AR-APP-09·PL-01 — Access and capability. Stylised brand illustration of the laboratory, not a photograph of a physical facility. The charts and figures inside the plate are simulated.

Access · AR-APP-09 · Intended launch pricing

Five ways in.
One of them is free, permanently.

The prices below are the intended launch prices for the application, published now so the specification in this section can be read against what it is expected to cost. Each card states what its price buys that the tier beneath it does not. Three things are tiered by percentage of the whole — the 288-control general parameter catalog, the 200 general outputs and the run ceiling — and one thing is not: the twelve correctness-critical controls that stay on screen at every tier. Nothing on this page is currently on sale, no card is being collected, and no launch date is being promised.

The plans

Each card states what the plan is intended to include, what it does not, and what its price buys that the tier below it does not. The capability matrix underneath is the version to check rather than the version to read — it carries every capability against every tier, including the ones written as limited rather than shown as a tick.

What the subscription is for

The MARS workbooks operate a trading system. This laboratory researches, simulates, validates and improves one. Nobody should pay monthly for web copies of workbook tables, and this is not that — nor does it require the workbook at all. The two products, side by side

The general parameter catalog

Two hundred and eighty-eight general controls, tiered by percentage of the catalog. These are the parameters for anyone building a strategy from scratch — they do not assume you already operate the MARS workbook. The Monte Carlo Lab is a separate and far more granular instrument, tiered by zone rather than by percentage.

The safety core is not on the ladder

A parameter you cannot reach is not a feature withheld — it is a decision the engine makes silently on your behalf, and for a small number of controls that produces an answer which is wrong in a way the operator has no means of detecting. A bench without a spread rail returns a more profitable number than the venue would have. So twelve correctness-critical controls sit outside the percentage ladder entirely: they are visible at every tier including the free one, seven of them editable there and the rest shown at their enforced value. What the ladder tiers is reach. It never tiers whether the safeguards apply.

The Monte Carlo Lab zones are tiered differently, and deliberately so — a missing zone leaves the simulation correct with fewer assumptions exposed, which is a difference of depth rather than of accuracy. Those zones are the granular, MARS-specific instrument; this catalog is the general one.

Where the 288 sit

The two hundred general outputs

Twenty diagnostic groups of ten, ids A01 to T10, produced from the general parameter catalog. The ladder is cut on whole scoring components, never on a count of charts — half a component is a component score you cannot trust, so no tier receives one.

These two hundred are the general outputs — the ones a trader receives from the general parameter catalog without already operating the MARS workbook. The Monte Carlo Lab produces its own separate and much more detailed output set from its own inputs, with its own families and scores, intended for seasoned operators of the Montex AlphaRail System. The two catalogues are never added together and are not substitutes for one another.

How much of it you see at once

When a paid account is created the application asks one question: how experienced are you. The answer sets the interface depth — menu structure, control density, how much is disclosed before you ask for it. It is not a second paywall and it does not change what your plan contains. A beginner on Quant has everything; it is simply not all on screen at once. Change it at any time, in either direction.

Capability matrix

Every capability against every access level. A limited capability is written as limited rather than shown as a tick — the ordinary way a pricing table misleads is by rendering "some" and "all" with the same mark.

Every row in this matrix describes an intended capability of an application that is not finished. The build status page states what currently exists, and the roadmap states the order in which the rest is being built. Features, groupings and prices may change before launch.

The questions this page usually raises

Why is the free tier permanent?

A fourteen-day trial of a research tool tests whether you can be rushed, not whether the tool is any good. Working out whether this laboratory changes how you think about a strategy takes longer than two weeks, and the free bench is sized to let that happen without a countdown running.

Why is the catalog tiered at all?

Because each step is a different kind of question. Plus specifies one strategy on one branch, completely. Pro turns that into a multi-branch system and judges it. Quant schedules that system across a month and interrogates the evidence. Nothing in the lower tier is a crippled version of the higher one — and the twelve controls that would make a lower answer wrong rather than smaller are on every tier.

Why does Pro cost so little for what it contains?

Because it is a single-operator research tool rather than a data subscription. It reads your data or its own simulated data; it does not resell a market feed and does not touch a broker. Most of the price of comparable products is the feed.

Is this a signal service?

No. No plan produces trade signals, connects to a broker, executes an order or manages money. The application evaluates configurations and datasets and produces analysis. What you do with the analysis is yours.

Do I need the MARS workbook to use this?

No. MARS governance is an optional layer inside the application, and the laboratory is fully usable without it. The workbook is a separate product for operators who want to run the governance system against a live account.

What happens to saved work if I downgrade?

The intent is that saved laboratories, datasets and reports stay readable and exportable at any tier, and that a downgrade restricts what you can build next rather than deleting what you have already built. That is stated as intent, because the billing system does not exist yet.
